EcoCount - version 1.56 Released Sept 2008
EcoCount is voice activated software developed to help people who regularly count things!
EcoCount was co-developed by Dr Phil Allen and Dr Neil Sewell to
improve the speed and efficiency of pollen counters working in the lab, however, it has now been used successfully in a number of other counting applications. EcoCount lets you build a list of items to count, and to use speech recognition to increment counting of each item. You can also just use the mouse to count with, but it's quicker and easier to use the speech recognition system. The software is ideal for when you really want someone else there to do some counting for you, but there's no-one free. Just install EcoCount, make your list, and start counting aloud! The software calculates running totals and its open file format is available for input straight into a text editor or Microsoft Excel.
The software is currently released under a 14 day trial licence. After this period, if you find the software useful you must register. Registration is £25 for a single licence and student
discount is available (£15 per licence). Volume and multi-user
licencing is also available. Please email your query to us for a quotation.
This version of the software has improved listening potential, better interactivity and comes with an updated instruction manual making it easier to get started. Download it today!
